Our Team 

All of our pediatricians are Royal College Certified Specialists and on Faculty at UBC as Clinical Instructors. We provide care for children from birth up to age 17. As consultants, we require a referral from your family physician, and we provide expert opinions on the issue that your primary care provider referred you for. 

Dr. Stephen Tsai 

Dr. Tsai grew up in Surrey, pursued his studies in Psychology at McGill University, and returned to UBC for medical school. He completed his specialty training in Pediatrics through UBC at the BC Children's Hospital. He has a keen interest in child learning, behavior, and development. 

Dr. Tsai also serves as President of the BC Pediatric Society. He is also a consultant at the Asante Centre where he takes part in multidisciplinary assessments for children with chronic and complex neurodevelopmental conditions. In his spare time, he enjoys fitness, racquet sports, and exploring the city with his wife and daughters. Dr. Tsai is fluent in English and Mandarin.
